Lewis Carroll, is best-known for, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking Glass" (1871), from tales told to Alice Liddell. These whimsical stories follow Alice on fantastical journeys triggered by a rabbit hole and a mysterious potion. Celebrated on July 4th, Alice in Wonderland Day honors Carroll's enduring legacy.
